Rooms or Southwest Rooms. Built in 1888 by the Bishop Family as a retreat
for city dwellers arriving by train, it has been painstakingly restored to meet
today's savvy clientele, all the while keeping its New England Heritage of

Enjoy A Culinary Experience
from Chef and owner karen Melanie, a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and
the Pastry Arts Center, who relocated her long established NY Bistro to the
White Mountains of New Hampshire. With her 25 years experience, guests can
enjoy New American Cuisine in an intimate candlelit filled atmosphere in
Melanie's Bistro with some of the most scenic views in New Hampshire; truly fine
dining redefined, or a more casual dining atmosphere in the Ammonoosuc Pub.

Our Location is
secluded within 80 acres in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire,
just minutes north of the famed Franconia Notch State Park, and everything the
Notch is known

Cannon Mountain, glacial basin, aerial tram, Flume Gorge, Lonesome Lake, Echo

bridges, fishing, hiking, downhill skiing, XC skiing, snow shoeing,
